I grew up in the small town of Rogersville around 40 miles west of Huntsville. Although I grew up in church, it wasn’t until I was 18 that I was saved. We had just begun attending Clements Baptist Church in Athens, AL when the gospel rocked my world, wrecked me and changed me forever. It was there that I began working with teenagers, found my wife Mandy, and surrendered to the call of vocational ministry.   During the following years Mandy and I were married and blessed with a daughter named Josie who just turned 6 and a son, Rece, who is 1. I served as a youth, college and young singles pastor at Clements from 2008 until early 2014 when I came here to Willowbrook.

Both Mandy and I have a love and passion for influencing and leading young people with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. We love to develop meaningful relationships with students and leaders. Part of our passion and drive comes from our lives as teens. Many church leaders and pastors were a part of our life-saving response to the gospel during these formative years of life. We, in turn, want to use our time, talents and treasures to do the same. We desire to see teens surrender to Christ in salvation, learn to obey His commands and share the gospel with the world.
